Most connected devices are judged by their app.
Kalamassery hosts Kerala Startup Mission's startup complex, including Maker Village, a hardware incubator where teams work on IoT, robotics, drones and biomedical instruments. Many of these products reach their users through a phone: the app is where a device is paired, configured, monitored and updated.
Hardware teams are usually strongest in electronics and firmware. Building a reliable companion app is a different discipline: Bluetooth connections that behave differently across Android phone models, onboarding that non-technical users can complete, offline behaviour, secure device provisioning and over-the-air firmware updates that must never leave a device unusable.
We build companion apps and the cloud services behind them, working alongside your firmware engineers. We are an independent studio based in Thrissur and are not affiliated with Maker Village or Kerala Startup Mission.

Companion apps for hardware: common questions
Can you work with our existing firmware?
Yes. We work from your BLE or network protocol documentation and with your firmware engineers; where documentation is missing, we define it together first.
Is Flutter suitable for Bluetooth apps?
Often yes, using mature BLE packages, but some devices need platform-specific handling. We prototype pairing on real hardware before committing to the approach.
Our product is a medical device. What should we consider?
Software that is part of a medical device can be subject to regulation and quality requirements. Please involve your regulatory adviser early; we can work within the documentation and testing processes they require.
Are you part of Maker Village?
No. We are an independent company headquartered in Thrissur, Kerala, and we work with startups wherever they are based.
